Plus what do I know; it took me 6 months to figure I was walking by a gym everyday on my way to the bus stop.</p>
<p>Veggies</p>
<p>Gosh, I thought growing up in the States that Koreans were a carnivorous group. Seemed like my mom fed me beef, in particular, a Korean dish called Bulgoki or &#8220;Meat grilled over fire,&#8221; every other day. I loved it and I assumed that&#8217;s what Koreans ate, all the time. Wrong. Actually, what I found out when I got to Korea was that the diet is nearly all vegetables. Meat, particularly beef, was a special occasion treat.</p>
<p>Even when Koreans would eat Bulgoki or Kalbi (grilled ribs), it was eaten as a part of a vegetable roll. You take a piece of leafy green &#8220;lettuce,&#8221; put a spoonful of rice on it, top with a little hot chili paste and a slice of garlic before putting the piece of meat on it. You roll it all up and pop it into your mouth and munch away.</p>

As increasingly more doctors select statin drugs, heart failure rates have taken a leap and this is likely due to statins diminishing and interfering with Co-Q10 production.</p>
<p>6.  Neuropathy &#8211; Cholesterol lowering drugs can create neuropathy or prickling in the hands and feet. Women and men can also have issues in walking after frequent use. Nerve difficulties are one of the many common side effects of using these drugs and characterize a real predicament. There have been documented cases in which drivers who put to use these drugs had lost feeling in their legs while running automobiles and ended up in automobile accidents.</p>
<p>7.  Muscle Weakness &#8211;  This is by far the most prevalent condition linked to statin use. As stated before, cholesterol lowering drugs interfere with Co-Q10 generation in the body and muscles need this compound to function appropriately.</p>
<p>8.  Acidosis &#8211; Stain drugs make the body acidic. This is recognized by intense amounts of acid in the blood and tissues. It has been said that an acidic body is a breeding ground for sickness. If the body is alkaline, disease can&#8217;t occur.</p>

<p>10. Liver and Pancreas &#8211; Statins can increase liver enzymes, which brings about liver damage and have also been related to Pancreatitis.</p>

<p>Despite what the medical establishment wants you to think, cholesterol is necessary for life. In the end, statins do more destruction than positives and 99 out of 100 men and women don&#8217;t need them or statins side effects, wouldn&#8217;t you concur? Beware&#8230;and I encourage you to always question your doctor and not &#8220;settle for&#8221; what you&#8217;re being told.</p>
